LINED REGULATING VALVES
PTFE Lined Regulating Valves in
Cast Steel or SS Body Valves
WHAT IS A REGULATING VALVE
A Regulating valve or also known as a control valve is a valve used to control fluid flow by varying the size of the flow passage as directed by a signal from a controller. This enables the direct control of flow rate and the consequential control of process quantities such as pressure, temperature, and liquid level.
A Lined Regulating Valve is one that has a lining in PTFE, PFA or FEP, which makes it a corrosive resistant valve. The lining has good resistance to corrosive medium and works well with most aggressive fluids. The control has a quick action, precision flow Characteristics, smooth flow with very little pressure drop loss.
The opening or closing of these control valves is usually done by electrical, or pneumatic actuators. Normally with a modulating valve, which can be set to any position between fully open and fully closed, valve positioners are used to ensure the valve attains the desired degree of opening.
Available sizing up to DN300 with pneumatic or electric actuators which can optimize adjustment control of processes. These can handle most acids, alkali, toxic and volatile porous medium, such as gas and liquid.
